Rick is the Founder and former CEO of Chainlogix, located in the greater Charlottesville Area. He started Chainlogix in 1998 and was sole Owner until 2021 when he partnered with New Water Capital. Both NWC and Rick believe in giving back to nonprofit organizations making a difference in global communities. Rick was born and raised in Virginia, calling Charlottesville home for over 25yrs. Believing “Charity starts at home”, he was excited to partner locally with The Chris Long Foundation who is making a huge difference in African Villages lacking clean water.
Over the past 25yrs, Rick has competed globally in many endurance events including the Ironman World Champions, the 70.3 World Championships, and Boston Marathon. He is excited to add Conquering Kili along with the many other supporters of The Chris Long Foundation.
Each new Conquering Kili class accepts the challenge to embark for the summit, a walk that represents the miles that many African women journey on a daily basis to fetch water for their families. While training for the climb, each team member works to raise funds and transform communities through the gift of clean water.
