    ABOUT CHRISTINE

Christine (Chris) Weber enlisted active duty in the United States Army and began her service on September 11, 2001, the very day of the World Trade Center terrorist attacks. After attending AIT and airborne school, she spent a short time in the United Kingdom, and the remainder of her service at Ft. Bragg, NC. Chris served three deployments to Afghanistan with the 7th Special Forces Group (A) between 2006 and 2009 and was honorably discharged in 2009 as a Staff Sergeant (promotable). Chris is honored to have served her country and misses the camaraderie of her battle buddies.

After her service, Chris attended the University of Colorado – Denver and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2017. She loves spending time with her family and friends, running and competing in races from 5K to 50-mile distances, exploring and adventuring in the outdoors, and living in the beautiful state of North Carolina. Chris is excited to have the opportunity to join the Waterboys family and positively impact the lives of others in need.

Each new Conquering Kili class accepts the challenge to embark for the summit, a walk that represents the miles that many African women journey on a daily basis to fetch water for their families. While training for the climb, each team member works to raise funds and transform communities through the gift of clean water.
