    ABOUT CORTLAND

A 10-year veteran of the NFL, Cortland Finnegan was All-Pro selection, 3x All-American and OVC Defense Player of The Year. Finnegan is one of the elite players to make it to the show with the 2016 Super Bowl Carolina Panthers. Finnegan attended Samford University and was inducted into the Samford Hall of Fame alongside famed Florida Seminoles football coach Bobby Bowden.

During his NFL career, Finnegan began the Ark 31 Foundation (Acts of Random Kindness) to benefit children coping with special needs and disabilities. Since that time Ark 31 has provided grants of over 400k to organizations that meet the mission standards.

An avid entrepreneur and philanthropist, Finnegan owns ILoveJuiceBar.com, with 51 stores open in nine states, an investor and part-owner of Vui’s Kitchen with two locations, and is the founder and co-CEO of the Italian-based shoe company known as Christopher Coy.

Each new Conquering Kili class accepts the challenge to embark for the summit, a walk that represents the miles that many African women journey on a daily basis to fetch water for their families. While training for the climb, each team member works to raise funds and transform communities through the gift of clean water.
