    ABOUT NICK

Nick Hardwick is an 11-year National Football League veteran and former center for the Purdue Boilermakers. During a career in San Diego, Hardwick was considered one of the most popular Chargers in team history and widely revered as the cornerstone of one of the team’s most productive offensive lines that forged the way for such Pro Bowl players as LaDainian Tomlinson, Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers. Today, Hardwick works on the media side of the sports industry. His current positions include Field Reporter for San Diego Chargers Radio Broadcast; local TV Sportscaster on Fox 5 San Diego; weekly radio contributor on three iHeart Radio stations; and host of “Behind the Bolt with Nick Hardwick” on Fox Sports San Diego and the Chargers website. Nick lives in San Diego with his wife Jayme, and their two boys, Hudson (4) and Ted (2).

Each new Conquering Kili class accepts the challenge to embark for the summit, a walk that represents the miles that many African women journey on a daily basis to fetch water for their families. While training for the climb, each team member works to raise funds and transform communities through the gift of clean water.
