    Kili Class

    2026 Conquering Kili Class

    Role

    Green Light Podcast Producer

    Location

    Charlottesville, VA

Reid Dickerson is a born and raised Charlottesvillian. From an early age, his parents, Randy and Susan Dickerson, impressed upon him the importance of service and helping others, along with a love of the outdoors. Throughout his life, he has donated his time and energy to causes that are important to him, including traveling to South Dakota for mission work on the Pine Ridge Native American Reservation.

Reid graduated from James Madison University before making his way back to his hometown, ultimately earning the title of Cowboy Reid at the Green Light Podcast with Chris Long. At GLP, Reid has entirely too much fun and is in constant awe that he is allowed to hang out and talk with his friends professionally.

One of his favorite parts of the job is collaborating with the Chris Long Foundation. Being able to participate in and support Waterboys, and to join the 2026 Conquering Kili cohort is an honor.

As a traveler, Reid has stepped foot in each of the lower 48 states, his favorite place being [redacted], Idaho. He spent a month backpacking in Chile and Peru, reveling in the beauty of Machu Picchu and Auzangate. His favorite trip is the next one.

Each new Conquering Kili class accepts the challenge to embark for the summit, a walk that represents the miles that many African women journey on a daily basis to fetch water for their families. While training for the climb, each team member works to raise funds and transform communities through the gift of clean water.
