Well 56 for #56

Dear Supporter,

Some of you may not know this, but I have been a part of Waterboys since it launched in 2015. Over the years, it’s been an honor for me to support the growth of this collective impact movement and Chris’ vision of providing clean water to 1 million people in need.

Recently, I joined Chris at the NFL Honors ceremony where he received the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. While I have heard Chris speak hundreds of times, there was one phrase that really struck me and reaffirmed why we remain committed to this work:

“Service is a humble task, and the only requirement is a love for people”.

I’m grateful that Chris pushes the boundaries of philanthropy and holds an unwavering commitment to serving those in need, even in the face of daunting challenges.

We are only $1,800 away from funding well #56, which I’d like to dedicate to Chris on his birthday (today!), to celebrate his amazing accomplishments on and off the field.

Will you join me in making a $5.60 birthday gift in honor of Chris and his service?

Thanks to our friends at Global Water Challenge, all gifts made today will be doubled as a part of their World Water Day matching grant. So for every $5.60 you give, another $5.60 will be donated to Waterboys.

I appreciate you joining me in celebrating Chris and all he’s done for the clean water movement.

Sincerely,
Nicole Woodie

The Dittmans’ Journey to Water Security

Women Bear the Burden When There is No Water

WORLD WATER WEEK 2023 Women in Kenya experience greater inequality when there is no access to clean water. But why? Nearly 900,000 people without basic drinking water live in Sub-Saharan Africa, and 7 out of 10 households without a clean water source place the onus of collecting water on women and girls. As a result, […]
