Kyle Lowry is an American professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors. Lowry, a five-time NBA All-Star, played basketball for Villanova University in college, before being drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2006. He played for the Grizzlies and the Houston Rockets before making his way to Toronto. While with the Raptors, he helped the team reach the playoffs for the first time in seven years in his second season, and helped them make their way to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2015-16. In 2019, Lowry won his first NBA Championship with Toronto. Lowry was also a member of the 2016 USA Men’s Basketball team, winning a gold medal. Lowry is now a part of Hoops2o, ready to help the team achieve its goals: bringing clean water to one million people in East Africa.
