De’Andre Hunter is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks. After playing basketball at Friends’ Central School in his native Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hunter committed to the University of Virginia and was named to the ACC All-Freshmen Team in his first year on the court, along with being named the ACC Sixth Man of the Year. In his sophomore season, he helped lead UVA to the #1 seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. In the National Championship game, Hunter scored 27 points, including a game-tying 3 with 12.9 seconds left in regulation, helping UVA win its first National Championship title.

Hunter was taken 4th Overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, signing with the Atlanta Hawks. Now, Hunter is a member of Hoops2o as well, committed to bringing clean water to one million people.
