Veteran Expectations

• All applicants are expected to have been active duty within one of the branches of the armed forces.
• All applicants should be comfortable sharing their experience in the military with the general public and media outlets.
• All applicants should have a passion for the clean water cause and be committed to helping others.
• All applicants should be comfortable with international travel and be able to take an extended leave of 10 – 14 days out of the country.
• All applicants have the capacity to fundraise or give $7500 from July ’19 – February ’20.
• All applicants should be interested in spreading the word about Conquering Kili, Waterboys, and The Chris Long Foundation during their fundraising campaign.
• Preference will be given to applicants which have been referred by Conquering Kili alumni.

Professional Athlete Expectations:

• All applicants are expected to play or have played professional sports.
• All applicants should be comfortable sharing their professional athletic experience with the general public and media outlets.
• All applicants should have a passion for the clean water cause, and be committed to helping others.
• All applicants should be comfortable with international travel and be able to take an extended leave of 10-14 days out of the country.
• All applicants commit to raising or self-funding $15,000 through fundraising efforts between August 2019 – February 2020.
• All applicants should be interested in spreading the word about Conquering Kili, Waterboys, and The Chris Long Foundation during their fundraising campaign.
• All accepted applicants should be willing to donate 2 (two) signed items for Foundation use and giveaway.
• All accepted applicants should be willing to travel to support the Conquering Kili fundraising    event.
