WATERBOYS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS COMMITTEE

The Waterboys Young Professionals Committee (YPC) strives to raise awareness and money to provide clean water to communities in need throughout East Africa. Formed in 2019, the YPC brings together people from diverse industries and backgrounds to support Waterboys and the fight against the global water crisis.

We initially set out to raise $45,000—the cost to build one well in East Africa and provide clean water to over 5,600 people. Having reached that goal in February 2022, we then set out to raise an additional $55,000 ($100,000 total) to fund our second well. After crossing that mark in November 2023, we are now targeting to raise another $75,000 ($175,000 total) to fund our third well.

A variety of events and fundraisers in New York City, along with generous donations from the YPC community, will continue to drive us toward that goal.

We have the opportunity to improve the lives of thousands of people. We’re excited to have you join us and look forward to taking on this challenge together.
