About the Group
Kerry Rock was born and raised in southern California, and joined the US Army in October of 2000. Rock was assigned to his first duty station in Vicenza, Italy with the 173rd Airborne Bridge. There he took part in the airborne invasion of Iraq in March of 2003. Due to his experiences in Iraq, Rock was diagnosed with PTSD and left the military 2 years later. Today Rock lives in Charlottesville, VA and works as a computer systems engineer. He spends his free time giving back to non-profit organizations like Specifically the Sexual Assault Resource Agency of Charlottesville (SARA) and the Ishan Gala Foundation, assisting them with fundraising and event planning. Rock also finds time to serve as the Athletic Director for Team Red White and Blue (Charlottesville) which enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
