About the Group
Glass Rose Films is a non-profit production company based out of Villanova University’s Social Justice Documentary Program. Comprised of 15 students and 1 faculty advisor, Glass Rose Films is working to create a 20-minute documentary short regarding the global issue of clean water access through the lens of a community based in Singida, Tanzania. The crew of Glass Rose Films spent two weeks on the ground in Tanzania this past October, where they made connections with two villages, Malolo and Jamida. The film will follow one woman in her daily journey to retrieve water, showing the joys and difficulties that come along with life in her village. Join them in their fundraising efforts to bring the communities of Malolo and Jamida clean water.
