Gerald McCoy is a former NFL defensive tackle who dominated interior lines for 13 seasons, earning six Pro Bowl selections and First-Team All-Pro honors in 2013. The third overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, McCoy recorded 59.5 career sacks with the Buccaneers, Panthers, Cowboys, and Raiders. Known for his explosive first step, relentless motor, and leadership both on and off the field, Gerald became a vital part of every defense he led.

Since retiring in 2021, McCoy has seamlessly transitioned into media, serving as a host on NFL GameDay Morning on NFL Network, with numerous other appearances, including a regular spot on The Arena: Gridiron. The Oklahoma City native remains deeply connected to his roots and hosts an annual free youth football camp in his hometown through his Patricia Diane Foundation, which honors the legacy of his late mother. A superhero enthusiast, McCoy’s infectious personality, genuine passion for life, and interests in moviemaking and acting make him a multifaceted and beloved figure in sports media.

Each new Conquering Kili class accepts the challenge to embark for the summit, a walk that represents the miles that many African women journey on a daily basis to fetch water for their families. While training for the climb, each team member works to raise funds and transform communities through the gift of clean water.
