The Wave

The Wave is a movement of monthly givers who provide people with access to clean water. Together we’re creating a ripple effect that’s changing lives.

Access to clean water increases access to education, creates work opportunities, and significantly improves health conditions.

Our Programs

Through our family of programs, we are bringing people together to provide the gift of clean water to 1 million people. Spanning continents and sports leagues, our programs are making a tangible and measurable difference in people’s lives.

  • NFL Waterboys

    nfl-white-logo-programs

The first program of Waterboys brought NFL players together from across the league to meet the initial goal of funding 32 deep borehole wells to represent the 32 NFL teams. Since accomplishing that goal in February of 2018, Waterboys has more than doubled its goal, serving 500,000 individuals clean water and inspiring the start of other Waterboys programs across leagues and locations.

  • Hoops2O

Founded in 2018 with a Starting 5 roster of NBA players, Hoops2O recruits players and fans from across the NBA to raise funds and awareness for clean water projects in East Africa. They’re making buckets on the court and fighting for clean water access off it.

  • Conquering Kili

Hiking Africa’s tallest mountain is no small feat. Neither is raising money to fund deep borehole wells. The Conquering Kili program empowers military veterans, clean water advocates, and athletes to tackle both challenges at once. Team up, and accept the challenge to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro and raise funds to provide clean water to Tanzanian communities in need.

  • Hometown H2O

    hometown-white-logo-programs

Water access is not only an issue in developing countries. In many low-income, rural and tribal U.S. communities, access to safe and affordable water is not guaranteed. Hometown H2o focuses on providing clean water to American communities, households, and schools that lack access to this fundamental resource.
